On Village, an activity remains a draft until you add a schedule. As soon as you add the first schedule, the activity is published.

What’s the difference?

  • Draft activities:  These have no ongoing, upcoming, or past schedules. This means you either haven’t finished creating the activity, haven’t added a schedule yet, or have canceled all existing schedules. Draft activities don’t have a live page, so they can’t be shared or appear on your organization's public page. However, you can still edit them.
  • Published activities: These have at least one schedule and are visible on your organization profile—unless you make them private. Published activities will appear on your organization profile and will have a live page you can share with your customers.

📌 Notice: If you cancel all schedules of a published activity, the activity will become draft again.

If you’d like to test an activity before collecting registrations, you could set its visibility to private and add a schedule. This way, the activity will be published, allowing you to view the live page and test it. Learn more about how to test your activity here.
